What time will my order be delivered?
Our delivery is from 9am-12:00pm only. Please expect your order anytime during that window.
By ordering with us, you agree to our terms & conditions of these scheduled times.
If you do not answer the door for delivery your order will be left out front, we are not held responsible for your order after delivery.
At this time we do not offer specific delivery windows, being that it is only one person fulfilling all requests. If you need something before the scheduled delivery times we suggest placing your order one day ahead of your event.
Do you offer pick up or shipping?
No, not at this time. When you order from us your cake will be hand delivered between 9am-12pm.
Can I choose the flowers for my cake/cookies?
Flowers are always seasonal so our stock is ever-changing, each flower unique in its own way, we can never recreate a cake to be exactly like we have made before as they are hand decorated and botanicals vary by size, shape, color and season.
What are your business hours and where are you located?
Open Thursday-Saturday
9:30am-4:30pm
We do not have a store front, only a delivery service, details will be emailed to you after your order is finalized.
Can I place a last minute Order?
We generally need at least a two weeks notice for your custom edible pressed floral cakes, because we are only a team of 2 people, but if you have a last minute request please let us know and we will see how we can accommodate according to our schedule that week, we charge a rush fee of $25.
Other cakes and desserts can be placed up to 5 days in advance and no later.
Does my cake need to be refrigerated?
Yes, store your cake in the fridge. Before eating remove the cake from fridge and bring to room temperate for 1-2 hours. This preserves the freshness and the flowers if any and allows the cake to come back to room temperature to enjoy.
Do you accept returns?
When you place an order with us the sale is final.
We can not accept a return.
How much is delivery?
All Local Order Deliveries within El Dorado County are $10. Sacramento and Placer Counties require a consultation please email to inquire. This price will vary for weddings. Generally you can expect delivery to be around $120.00 per every 60 miles from El Dorado County.
Outside of those areas, please contact us. An additional delivery or shipping fee may be required. Please email requests to hello@crushcateringco.com
Can I change my delivery date?
Having one baker means that we book up quickly and that dates and sales are final. No exceptions.
How long will fresh flowers last on a cake?
Fresh flowers will stay lovely on a cake for several hours in a fridge, they will remain fresh for a few hours outside of the refrigerator.
Please note that if a calendar date is blocked off this means we are no longer accepting orders for this day. Please do not place an order for a later date and expect it to come before that date.
Can you breakdown the price?
We price accordingly due to the tedious, handcrafted, small batch, and one of a kind nature of our cakes. We buy high quality organic ingredients, a typical bakery orders at wholesale prices. We grow some of our florals in house but due to more supply and demand when you order a floral cake you are also ordering from a small business of florist or farmers who charge us full price for flowers we don’t have on hand.
We must honor the artistry and hard work we or any future employee devotes to our company. It takes many hours to make and decorate a cake, and time to source special flowers and ingredients.
